bluedot is a weekend of music, science and cosmic culture at the UK's home of astronomy, Jodrell Bank Observatory in Cheshire. With a mission to inspire, entertain and highlight the fragility of the planet, bluedot is a multi award-winning celebration of creativity and ideas beneath the iconic Lovell Telescope.
Previous music headliners have included Kraftwerk, The Chemical Brothers, New Order, Hot Chip, The Flaming Lips, Blue Planet in concert with the Halle Orchestra and more, while science and culture headliners have included Helen Sharman [First British astronaut], James Burke [Presenter, BBC Apollo 11 1969], Brian Cox, Libby Jackson [UK Space Agency] and Richard Dawkins.

Festival of the Sky is a free arts and culture weekend in Cleethorpes, curated and marketed by From the Fields in collaboration with North East Lincolnshire Council and CoastNEL.
The first Festival of the Sky weekend saw over 10,000 take to the streets of Cleethorpes stunning promenade, Meridian Showground and Discovery Centre, marking the first event of its kind in this beautiful corner of the country, and was celebrated by regional press and the local authorities.
