New Balance, one of the World’s leading sports footwear manufacturers, celebrated their historical connection with Cumbria through a 360-degree campaign in the north-west via a 2 year partnership with Kendal Calling.
Working with New Balance, From the Fields created a competition involving store promotions and flagship, major retailers in the north-west and London, for audiences to win tickets to a premium, money can’t buy experience at Kendal Calling. Key international culture and style journalists from the USA and Japan were also invited on a press trip to the festival.
The From the Fields team crafted a production, artist booking and bespoke communications plan, which incentivised social media communities to engage with New Balance channels, with the opportunity to attend a unique woodland party with surprise performances from 2ManyDJs and Craig Charles via a branded pre-registration portal.
Bespoke ‘Kendal Calling x New Balance’ limited edition trainers were also designed in collaboration with the festival, and offered to key artists and press, while onsite decor and branding provided Instagrammable moments.
